I run against cancer during NN Marathon Rotterdam with your support

This action makes sense to me because we all have a loved one in the family or friends who are or have been affected by this damn cancer. I am participating to raise money for groundbreaking cancer research and better care for everyone affected by cancer. Money that is desperately needed, because no fewer than 1 in 2 people in the Netherlands is diagnosed with cancer. Will you help me with a donation? On behalf of me and KWF: thank you!

My Fight against cancer / Mon combat contre le cancer

Running against cancer
Outdoor sports are a passion for me, especially running.
This marathon against cancer is an opportunity to put the spotlight back on the fight against THE cancers. We must not trivialize this multi-faceted disease (breast, skin, gynecological cancer and many others).
The goals of my action:
- remember that this disease is not irreversible thanks to advances in research, we must therefore continue to give.
- it is a reminder to carry out screenings regularly, not to wait until you are sick.
The fight against this disease is a long-term battle like a marathon that I will try to overcome as quickly as possible.
The difficulty of this ordeal will remind me of the daily physical and psychological suffering that cancer patients experience.

At 46 years old I saw my family, my friends, my colleagues, my comrades affected by this crab. Some are still fighting or have survived, others are not.
Cancers affect everyone regardless of their lifestyle or age, whether they are athletes, smokers, veterans or even those in active life and even children.
So let's all fight together and make a sporting challenge, an action, a symbolic gesture or not against these damn cancers.💪🏽🦀💪🏽Courir contre les cancers 
Le sport outdoor est pour moi une passion, plus particulièrement le running.
Ce marathon contre le cancer est l’occasion de remettre en avant la lutte contre LES cancers. Il ne faut pas banaliser cette maladie aux multiples facettes ( cancer du sein, de la peau, gynécologique et bien d’autres).
Les buts de mon action:
- rappeler que cette maladie n’est pas irréversible grâce aux avancées de la recherche, il faut donc continuer à donner.
- c’est un rappel pour effectuer les dépistages régulièrement, ne pas attendre d’être malade. 
Le combat contre cette maladie est une lutte au long cours comme un marathon que je vais tenter de vaincre le plus rapidement possible.
La difficulté de cette épreuve me rappellera la souffrance physique et psychologique quotidienne que vivent les malades du cancer. 

À 46 ans j’ai vu ma famille, mes amis , mes collègues, mes camarades touchés par ce crabe. Certains combattent encore ou ont survécu, d’autres non.
Les cancers touchent tout le monde quelque soit son mode de vie ou son âge que l’on soit sportif, fumeur, ancien ou encore dans la vie active et même les enfants.
Alors tous ensemble luttons et faisons un défi  sportif, une action un geste symbolique ou non contre ces satanés cancers.
