I’m running against cancer during the TCS Amsterdam Marathon
In April 2025, I was diagnosed with testicular cancer. It's not something you expect to hear, especially at 27 years old, healthy and active. Within days, I had surgery to remove the tumor.
I'm very lucky that the cancer was caught very early and that I have access to great care.
To turn this difficult experience into something positive, I'm running the Amsterdam Marathon this October.
I'm fundraising for KWF, the Dutch Cancer Society. They fund crucial research, support prevention efforts, and help people affected by cancer every day. Your donation will directly help support their work.
