Thanks to scientific breakthroughs, more and more people are surviving cancer. Or improve their quality of life if they do not get better. That is why KWF continues to invest unabatedly in research. Donate for groundbreaking research

1 in 2 people in the Netherlands will face cancer at some point. With the Enschede Marathon 2026, we’re raising money together for scientific research—ranging from prevention and diagnosis to treatment and quality of life. But it’s not just research we support. Part of the proceeds also goes to local initiatives, such as the IPSO Centers for living with and beyond cancer, and palliative care.
