HYROX against cancer and KWF
HYROX against cancer is an initiative of the KWF Dutch Cancer Society, abbreviated as “KWF”.
When you participate in HYROX against cancer, you start a fundraiser for KWF via the KWF Fundraising platform and support our mission.
By registering for HYROX against cancer, you agree to these terms and conditions:

Participants
Everyone aged 18 and over can participate in HYROX against cancer.
As a participant, you are an ambassador for KWF. It is therefore important that you take our mission into account when participating.
As a participant, you respect the objectives of KWF and our focus on a healthy lifestyle. This means that we do not want to be associated with smoking, the tobacco industry, or alcohol. Therefore, you do not collaborate with organisations that are active in these sectors as part of your activities.

Registration and fundraising
When you register for HYROX against cancer, you will receive a personal fundraiser. Through this fundraiser, you can ask your network to donate to KWF and help you reach your fundraising target.
To qualify for a ticket through KWF, you must have raised at least 750 euros in donations by 20th of August 2026. You will then not have to pay the registration fee for the sporting event. If you have not raised the minimum target amount before the deadline, you can purchase a ticket yourself from the event organizer, if available.
All participants who raise 500 euros receive an exclusive HYROX against cancer tank top.
Participation with a Doubles ticket
If you register for a Doubles ticket through KWF, you are required to create a team fundraiser. A Doubles team consists of 2 participants, and both team members must have an active personal fundraiser.
During registration the team captain immediately invites their sports buddy to their fundraising team.
To qualify for a free Doubles ticket through KWF, the team must raise at least 1500 euros together through the team fundraiser before 20th of August 2026.
It does not matter how the amount is divided between the personal fundraisers of both team members. The total amount raised by the team determines eligibility.
Make sure you redeem your ticket with HYROX Benelux no later than 3rd of September 2026. If you purchase your own ticket through HYROX Benelux, you will still receive a HYROX against cancer tank top once you have raised at least 500 euros in sponsorship donations.
Changing category or team
As long as you have not yet redeemed your ticket with HYROX Benelux, you may change your category, provided KWF still has tickets available for the desired category.
Once your ticket has been redeemed, it is no longer possible to change categories or divisions. For example, you cannot convert a Doubles ticket into a Single ticket or switch from Men's Doubles to Mixed Doubles.
If your teammate is unexpectedly unable to participate, for example due to an injury, you may register a replacement participant, provided they meet the requirements of the original category. The participant’s name can be changed, but the selected division or category must remain the same.

Use of the KWF logo

Secure your ticket
The sporting events in which HYROX against cancer participates are very popular and the number of tickets is limited. There is often even a waiting list.
To keep your place, it is important that you start raising donations within 6 weeks of registering. If you do not, KWF reserves the right to remove your fundraiser and release your ticket to someone on the waiting list.
How can you prevent this?
- Start raising donations as soon as you create your fundraiser. For example, make a donation to your own fundraiser to show that you are serious about participating.
- Make sure you reach your fundraising target before the deadline.
If you do not start fundraising in time, you will receive a warning by email before your ticket is withdrawn.

Donations
All donations raised through your fundraiser are intended for KWF. KWF uses these donations to support its mission and objectives.
If you decide not to participate in HYROX against cancer, donations that have already been raised will not be refunded. This also applies if the sporting event cannot take place for any reason.

Communication
We will keep you informed about HYROX against cancer and the sporting event by email and SMS. Please make sure we have your correct email address and mobile phone number so that you do not miss any important information.
To prevent important emails from ending up in your spam folder, please add KWF to your safe senders list.
If you no longer wish to receive emails about HYROX against cancer, you can unsubscribe using the unsubscribe link in our emails. You will be unsubscribed immediately and will no longer receive communications about HYROX against cancer.
If you no longer wish to receive SMS messages about your fundraiser, text KWF STOP to 3669.

Liability & organization
KWF does not organize the HYROX against cancer events itself. We are therefore not liable for any incidents or circumstances relating to the event. Participation is subject to the terms and conditions of the specific event organizer. You can find these on the organizer’s website.
If necessary, we will share your details with the event organizer. We only share the information required for participation in the event.
