HYROX Maastricht 2026
Join HYROX against cancer during HYROX Maastricht 2026 on 17 - 20 september 2026. Choose your challenge: Singles en Doubles. Sign up through KWF and raise at least 750 euros before 20th of August 2026 to receive a free solo ticket. Joining as a Doubles team? Raise at least 1500 euros together and receive your free Doubles ticket.
Join us for the very first edition of HYROX Against Cancer in Maastricht and experience a day full of energy, determination and challenge. Take your HYROX to the next level: push your limits, beat your personal best and help improve the lives of everyone affected by cancer.

How it works
HYROX against cancer during the HYROX Maastricht 2026. Solo or in a Doubles team. There are 2 ways to participate:
Start your fundraiser
1) Sign up through KWF:
Raise at least 750 euros before 20th of August 2026 and KWF will buy your ticket.
Joining as a Doubles team? Together, you’ll need to raise at least 1500 euros to receive a free Doubles ticket.
Claim your ticket before 3rd of September 2026. Raise 500 euros and receive the exclusive HYROX against cancer tank top
2) Buy your own ticket:
Create a fundraising page and start raising money. Raise 500 euros and you’ll also receive the HYROX against cancer tank top
Share your fundraiser
The more people you engage, the faster you will reach your goal. Fill your action page with your personal story and use Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and WhatsApp to share your fundraiser This way the news that you are raising money for cancer research will spread quickly! You'll be surprised at the number of people who will help you reach your goal.
Celebrate
Achieved your target amount? Great! Feel like raising the bar even higher? Increase your goal and raise even more funds. Together we can create hope instead of hopelessness for everyone that is affected by cancer.

Would you like to participate with a free Doubles ticket through KWF? Then both team members need their own fundraiser. Follow the steps below to create your team and start fundraising together for KWF.

Who motivates your HYROX?

Why KWF
That is what scientific research is all about as far as we are concerned. Research that leads to earlier detection, better treatments and optimal care for everyone affected by cancer. Thanks to scientific breakthroughs, more and more people are surviving cancer. Or improve their quality of life if they do not get better. That is why KWF continues to invest unabatedly in research. Walk against cancer during the HYROX Maastricht 2026 and contribute to our mission.
A better life durng and after cancer
1 in 2 people in the Netherlands will face cancer at some point. With the HYROX Maastricht 2026, we’re raising money together for scientific research—ranging from prevention and diagnosis to treatment and quality of life. But it’s not just research we support. Part of the proceeds also goes to local initiatives, such as the IPSO Centers for living with and beyond cancer, and palliative care.
FAQ
How much is the registration fee?
There is no registration fee.
There are 2 ways to participate
1) Register through KWF and raise at least 750 euros before 20th of August 2026. You will then receive a free ticket from KWF and an exclusive HYROX against cancer tank top. If you do not reach the minimum fundraising amount, you can still purchase a ticket through the event organizer, subject to availability.
Joining as a Doubles team? Together, you’ll need to raise at least 1500 euros to receive a free Doubles ticket.
2) Purchase your own ticket for your HYROX race and create a HYROX against cancer fundraiser. There is no minimum fundraising amount required. Raise more than 500 euros and you will receive the exclusive HYROX against cancer tank top.
How do I get my ticket
Once you raised 750 euros (or 1500 for Doubles , you will receive an email with instructions on how to redeem your ticket. This will complete your registration for the event.
Make sure you redeem your ticket before 3rd of September 2026. If you do not redeem your ticket before this date, your right to a free ticket will expire.
Can someone else take part if I can no longer participate?
Yes. A participant's name can always be changed.
Would you also like to change your category or division? This is only possible if you have not yet redeemed your ticket and KWF still has tickets available for the desired category. Please contact us at hyroxtegenkanker@kwf.nl.

Yes, as long as you have not yet redeemed your ticket and KWF still has tickets available for your preferred category or division. Please contact hyroxtegenkanker@kwf.nl for assistance.
Have you already redeemed your ticket? In that case, please contact the event organizer directly.
I am participating as a Doubles team. Do I need to create a team fundraiser?
Yes. If you register for a Doubles ticket through KWF, creating a team fundraiser is mandatory.
Your 2 personal fundraisers will be linked together to the team fundraising page. This allows you to raise money together for KWF and automatically track the total amount raised by your team.
A Doubles team always consists of 2 participants. It is therefore not possible to add additional team members.

I am participating as a Doubles team. How much do we need to raise to receive a free ticket from KWF?
Your team must raise at least 1500 euros through your team fundraiser before the deadline.
It does not matter who raises which amount. As long as you raise at least 1500 euros together, you will qualify for a free Doubles ticket.
I no longer wish to participate. Can I get my donations refunded?
No. If you decide not to participate after registering, any donations already collected cannot be refunded.
When do I need to redeem my ticket?
Redeem your ticket before 3rd of September 2026. If you do not redeem your ticket before this date, your right to a free ticket will expire.
I already bought my own ticket. Can I get reimbursed once I have raised 750 euros?
No. Tickets that have already been purchased cannot be reimbursed.
I raised a lot more than 750 euros. Can I now participate in another event for free?
No. The funds raised through your fundraiser are linked to a specific event.
If you would like to participate in another HYROX against cancer event, you will need to register for that event separately and raise the required minimum sponsorship amount again.

How much sponsorship money do I need to raise to receive a free ticket?
You need to raise at least 750 euros before 20th of August 2026. Are you participating as a Doubles team? Then you and your teammate must raise 1500 euros together.
What happens if I do not reach the fundraising target?
If you do not reach the minimum fundraising target before 20th of August 2026, you can still purchase a ticket directly through the event organizer.
Please note that HYROX events are very popular and often sell out quickly.
If I participate in a Doubles team, do we both need to raise 750 euros individually?
No. The advantage of participating as a Doubles team is that you can divide the fundraising effort between you.
As long as you raise 1500 euros together, you will qualify for a free Doubles ticket through KWF.
I received a donation confirmation email, but the donation is not showing on my fundraiser. The amount has already been deducted from my sponsor's account. Can you add it?
Yes.
Please ask your sponsor to send you a screenshot of the transaction and email it to hyroxtegenkanker@kwf.nl.
The transaction contains a KRI reference number, which helps us trace the donation and link it to your fundraiser. It also serves as proof that the donation has been processed.
I am no longer receiving donation confirmation emails, or they suddenly end up in my spam folder. What can I do?
Please check your spam folder and mark emails from KWF as safe or not spam (this is often easiest to do on a desktop computer).
If the problem persists, contact us at hyroxtegenkanker@kwf.nl.
Until when can people donate to my fundraiser? How long does my fundraiser remain active after the event?
Donations can be made until 4 weeks after the event.
After that, your fundraiser will close automatically. You will receive a notification before your fundraiser is closed.
I donated to a participant, but they did not take part in the event. Can I get my donation back?
No. Donations are non-refundable. Even if participation cannot take place due to exceptional circumstances, including but not limited to (local) government decisions, donations made through the KWF Action Platform cannot be refunded. All donations will be used to support the objectives of KWF.
Fundraising with a QR code. How does it work?
- Log in to your account
- Go to My QR code
- Click Download QR code or Download QR poster
- Share your QR code via WhatsApp, email, or social media
- Display your QR poster in a visible location, such as your gym, workplace, or sports club
My employer wants to sponsor me. How does that work?
We prefer donations to be made through your fundraiser. Your employer will automatically receive a payment confirmation by email.
If it is not possible to donate through your fundraiser, please email the following information to hyroxtegenkanker@kwf.nl:
- Company name
- Contact person
- Donation amount
We will then create a donation request (invoice). This invoice includes a reference number linked to your fundraiser.
Once the donation has been received, we will manually add it to your fundraiser.
Is it safe to donate using a KWF QR code?
Yes. All QR codes used through acties.kwf.nl are linked to KWF's official and secure payment environment.
When you scan a QR code, you will always be directed to a web address ending in .kwf.nl, ensuring that your donation goes directly to KWF.
Payments are processed through a certified payment provider and a secure HTTPS connection, keeping your payment details protected.
When will I receive my HYROX against cancer tank top? Will it be shipped to me?
Once you have raised 500 euros, your tank top will be shipped to you.
You will receive a shipping confirmation by email.
I received my tank top, but it is the wrong size. Can I exchange it?
Yes.
If you contact us in time, we can usually arrange an exchange before your HYROX race. Otherwise, you may be able to exchange it at the HYROX against cancer stand on the event day.
Please email hyroxtegenkanker@kwf.nl with your preferred size. We will also provide return instructions so you can return the incorrect tank top free of charge.
Can I add my own logo to the HYROX against cancer tank top?
Yes, you may add your own logo.
Any associated printing costs are the responsibility of the participant.
Is it mandatory to wear the HYROX against cancer tank top during the race?
No, it is not mandatory.
However, wearing the tank top helps create a strong team spirit and makes participants easily recognizable to KWF staff and supporters before, during, and after the race.
Can I buy a HYROX against cancer tank top?
No.
The tank top is not available for purchase. You can earn one by raising at least 500 euros for your HYROX against cancer fundraiser.
