I am running against cancer for the second time with 100 friends for Team Tieme!
My dear nephew Tieme, son of my brother Arjen and sister-in-law Henriette, passed away on April 2nd 2024. Unfortunately, the tumor was more powerful than the therapy.
Last year, Team Tieme raised over €85.000,- for the Dutch Cancer Society (KWF) at the Amsterdam Marathon. This year, Team Tieme is participating again: the amount raised will go entirely to Ewing Sarcoma research. We are convinced that with more attention and research for rare tumors, the chances for future patients will be much better.
