Running for a Cause Close to My Heart – TCS Amsterdam Marathon 2025
Saturday 5th JulThis year, I’m running the TCS Amsterdam Marathon not just for the finish line, but for a fight that has deeply shaped my life — the fight against cancer.
Cancer is not just a word in my family — it’s a journey we’ve lived through. My mother is a survivor — a pillar of strength who battled and overcame cancer with resilience and grace. But I also carry the weight of loss. In 2022, I lost my father after a brave, four-year battle with cancer. His courage, endurance, and love continue to inspire me every day.
Running this marathon is my tribute — to survivors, to fighters, and to those we've lost. It’s a step toward hope, awareness, and change. I’m proud to run in their honor, and I invite you to stand with me — by cheering, donating, or simply sharing this message.
Let’s run for research. Let’s run for healing. Let’s run for a cancer-free future.
