Mark and Gerald’s midlife crisis

Two guys, both closing in on 40, had a choice: buy a motorcycle, grow a questionable mustache, or sign up for HYROX. We went with the option that hurts more and looks worse in photos.

So here we are; 8km of running mixed with sled pushes, wall balls, and burpee broad jumps, basically our version of a red sports car. Expensive, slightly humiliating, and hard to explain to our wives.

But there’s a real reason behind the sweat. Cancer doesn’t skip anyone’s family, friends, or colleagues, sooner or later it finds its way in. So while we’re out there questioning our life choices between stations, we’re also raising money for KWF, so they can keep fighting back with actual research instead of just our poor gym decisions.
