Cancer touches nearly every family, almost 1 in 2 of us will face a diagnosis in our lifetime. KWF funds the research that's changing those odds: better treatments, earlier detection, more lives saved. That's worth running 42.2 km for, as well as the chafing and blisters that come along with it.

To make your donation go further, and make race day more interesting, two things are happening:

🎯 First: guess my finish time. When you donate, drop your prediction in the comments, or message me privately. Whoever gets closest wins a very nice bottle of wine from me, or, if you prefer, I'll donate its value on top.

💸 Second: I'm making myself pay. For every full minute I finish under my current personal best of 3:15, I'll donate an extra €100 out of my own pocket. The faster you cheer me on, the deeper I dig into my own pocket. So a 3:10 equates to €500 from me. Sub-3? You can do the math. This may be the only fundraiser where you can actively root for my financial downfall, without having to feel guilty.
