I will be running the NN Marathon Rotterdam 2026 to raise money for cancer research
On 12 April 2026, I will be running the Rotterdam Marathon!
To make this challenge truly meaningful, I’m raising funds for cancer research — funding that is urgently needed, as 1 in 2 people in the Netherlands will be diagnosed with cancer during their lifetime.
I have lost too many dear family members, friends, and colleagues to cancer at a relatively young age. This cause is deeply personal to me, and I want to contribute to advancing research and supporting organisations dedicated to prevention, treatment, and patient care. My goal is to help drive progress towards early detection and innovative therapies, while honouring the memory of those I have lost.
By fundraising, I hope to make a real impact and stand alongside others committed to eradicating this disease.
