I’m running against cancer during TCS Amsterdam Half Marathon 2026. Will you sponsor me?

Recently, I had a serious health scare after finding a lump and going through the uncertainty of tests and waiting for results. Thankfully, my results came back benign — and I know how lucky I am to be able to say that.

At the same time, I have seen people close to me go through a cancer diagnosis and treatment, and some are still going through it now. Cancer has a way of touching everyone’s life, directly or indirectly, and the impact it has on people and their loved ones is impossible to ignore.

That is why I’m running this half marathon: to raise money for KWF and support a better life with and after cancer. For more research, better treatment, better support, and more hope.

Together we can make a difference. Against cancer. For life.

I honestly don’t even fully know what to say except: thank you.

When I made this page, I was nervous to share it. I hoped we might reach the €750 target eventually, but I did not expect this much support so quickly. I’m genuinely touched by every donation, message, share, and kind word.

Because of all of you, the required target has been reached and I’ll be able to run the half marathon for KWF, the Dutch Cancer Society, during the TCS Amsterdam Marathon 2026.

The page stays open, so anyone who still wants to donate is very welcome to do so. Every extra euro goes towards cancer research, treatment, and care.

And if you’re in Amsterdam on race day, you’re very welcome to come cheer. I’ll definitely need the extra energy around kilometre 18 😄
