Running against Cancer
I love to run—and I especially love to run for causes that matter.
My next race will be in support of the Dutch Cancer Society (KWF), raising money for cancer research that saves lives. In the Netherlands, 1 in 2 people will face a cancer diagnosis at some point. That’s not just a statistic—it’s a stark reminder of how urgently we need to invest in better treatment, care, and prevention.
As someone passionate about human rights, I believe access to healthcare is a fundamental right—not a privilege. Supporting cancer research is one way we move closer to a world where everyone has a fair shot at survival, dignity, and quality of life.
