She beat cancer. Now I’m running so others can too.
A year and a half ago, our world was turned upside down. My mother was suddenly diagnosed with colorectal cancer. Thanks to the incredible dedication of her doctors and the hospital's immediate response, she was able to undergo surgery quickly. After two tough months of recovery, we received the news we had been hoping for: she was cancer-free.
We were lucky. But not everyone gets that same chance.
I believe every person facing cancer deserves the same swift, excellent care my mother received. That's why I'm running against cancer during ASML Marathon Eindhoven 2026, together with KWF.
