I AM RUNNING MY SECOND MARATHON !!! AMSTERDAM !!!!
Friday 18th JulAfter a 20-week training block for my first ever 42.2km at the Brighton Marathon in April this year, I’m beyond excited to take on a new challenge running the Amsterdam Marathon this October!
This time, it’s not just about the personal challenge. I’ve decided to take things a step further and raise money for a cause close to home for many - KWF Kankerbestrijding, a leading Dutch cancer foundation committed to cancer research, prevention, and patient support.
Being part Dutch, it feels incredibly special to run through the streets of the motherland, and I couldn’t be more thrilled (and a little emotional!) to take on this iconic marathon in Amsterdam. Here's to a hopefully flat and fast course, and an amazing opportunity to give back while doing something I love.
