Why I'm walking

Monday 9th Feb 2026

When I was 20 In lost my mom to breast cancer. Years later and I hear almost everyone around me dealing with this awful disease in one way or another. Its time to start a war on cancer and make sure all the research that can be done, will be done. That all the help and treatment there is, is available for anyone suffering from this disease, patient & family & friends. 


To help achieve this I’m walking against cancer during The Marathon Rotterdam Walk 2026. Will you please sponsor me and help? Together with KWF, we’re working towards a better life with and after cancer. This is urgently needed, because everyone is affected by cancer at some point. I’m walking especially for my dear mom Roos because she did not deserve to die at age 56 and neither does anyone else.

Together we can make a difference. Against cancer. For life. Will you help us out?!
