On October 19, 2025, I’ll be running the Amsterdam Marathon to raise funds for cancer research — and I need some help!
Back in March 2024, just a month before I was supposed to run my first marathon, I was diagnosed with an early-stage breast cancer. Of course, running a marathon had to wait — but now that I’ve recovered, I’m ready to take on the challenge again!! Going through that experience made me realise the importance of continued progress in cancer detection and treatment — and how essential funding is for that progress.
To participate in this marathon, I need to raise a minimum of €750. All donations go straight to cancer research, so if you feel like chipping in — big or small — it would mean a lot.
