I'm running for more than just a finish line. I'm running for a cause bigger than myself.

In April 2027, I'll take on my very first marathon in Rotterdam as part of Run Against Cancer, raising funds for KWF and cancer research.

Running my first marathon is something I've wanted to do, but I wanted this milestone to mean more than just a personal achievement. I wanted to turn this challenge into an opportunity to support something that touches all of us: the fight against cancer.

Cancer affects all of us, directly or indirectly. Every day, people face battles far harder than running 42.195 km. Some are fighting, others are standing beside loved ones, and many are hoping for a future that cancer has made uncertain.

I run for all of them. Especially for those who wish they could simply go out, run and enjoy the freedom of being healthy.

I may be running alone, but this challenge belongs to all of us. The real goal goes far beyond the finish line: to support research, create more hope, and help build a future with better treatments and more possibilities.
