I’m running against cancer 5K during NN CPC Loop Den Haag 2026. Will you sponsor me? All proceeds go to KWF, which works towards a better life with and after cancer.
Late July 2025 I was diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer. I am grateful for the excellent treatment i have received, underpinned by extensive scientific research, which will give me the best chance of overcoming this disease. Additionally, i benefited from KWF-funded initiatives at the hospital’s oncology “informatieplein”, including a support group for women with breast cancer and an information session on complementary treatments. These activities made recovery less isolating and more manageable, a real blessing.
Training for a 5K will be a challenge; I had surgery in October and finished radiotherapy in November. But I’d like to take this on for all of us touched by cancer.
