Running Eindhoven Marathon for KWF Dutch Cancer Society
Hi all, I'm running the Eindhoven Marathon (Oct 11) to raise funds for KWF Dutch Cancer Society. I am returning from an injury (on a fateful and unfortunate NYD), but training is again beginning to consume my life (follow my training here: https://www.strava.com/athletes/37354857), and I'm very much hoping to make the start line and to give this marathon a good go.
I have chosen to fundraise for KWF as they enable groundbreaking research and improve care and support for everyone affected by this devastating disease. Their primary goals are to: deepen our understanding of cancer; prevent cancer wherever possible; detect cancer at earlier stage; make all forms of cancer more treatabe; and improve quality of life for people living with or beyond cancer, including in the final phase of life.
As per Frankfurt last year, closest prediction wins a prize of some description!
