Running for a Cure
On May 18th, I’ll be running the half marathon in Utrecht, and I’m doing it for a cause that’s deeply important: raising money for cancer research.
Cancer affects far too many lives—here in the Netherlands, 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer at some point in their lives. That’s a staggering number, and it underscores just how urgently we need progress in cancer prevention, treatment, and care.
By sponsoring my run, you’re contributing to the incredible work of KWF (Dutch Cancer Society). Every euro donated goes toward funding vital research that brings us closer to better treatments, earlier detection, and, ultimately, cures.
This is not just my race—it’s a race for all of us, for those we’ve lost, and for those still fighting. Together, we can make a real difference.
On behalf of myself and KWF, thank you for your support. Every step I take on May 18th will be powered by your generosity and belief in this cause.
Let’s run toward a future with fewer cancer diagnoses and more survivors!
