6.3 km in 43 mins. I’m getting the miles in. So that’s 3.9 miles.

Morning gym

Had a strong session on the treadmill. I ran 6km in 45 mins. It’s not fast but I’m getting steadier and stronger. Will do 45 mins 3 x week for the next 3 weeks and see how I go. I’m enjoying the challenge. Weights have really helped!

Carlingford 7km mountain run/walk

Felt good. Beautiful scenery and a bit of climbing. Nice to switch it up a bit. Did this on 2/2/26.

Have been running 3-3.5 miles 3 times a week to get the legs used to increased miles. I’ve done loads of gym work over the past couple of years so my weight is good, muscles strong but now need miles on the road. I can do this!
