Didier runs for life – Barcelona Half Marathon 2025
On February 15th, 2025, I will run the Barcelona Half Marathon.
I am not doing this just for myself, but to raise money for cancer research.
One in two people in the Netherlands will be diagnosed with cancer at some point in their lives.
That is a painful reality, and almost everyone knows someone who has been affected by it.
I do too. In my own family and circle of friends, I have lost people I deeply cared about.
This makes the cause very personal and meaningful to me.
That is why I am taking action for the Dutch Cancer Society (KWF) to help fund research that saves lives. 💙
You can support me by donating or by becoming a sponsor of my run.
As a sponsor, your name or company logo will appear on my running shirt, which I will proudly wear during the marathon.

On 15 February, I’ll be running the Barcelona Half Marathon with one clear goal:
raising money for cancer research through KWF Kankerbestrijding ❤️
Cancer affects all of us — directly or indirectly. That’s why I’m running for KWF, a Dutch charity dedicated to:
funding life-saving cancer research
improving prevention and early detection
supporting patients and their families
working towards a future where cancer is no longer a deadly disease
