Cancer sucks!

Cancer has taken away both my parents,.

Cancer has already taken away a few friends my age.

As a complete shock, a few months ago even my brother got diagnosed with gallbladder cancer! Palliative care is all they can offer! This is insane.

The industry needs more money for research.

Now I absolutely hate running. My knees are gone and the 4 operations on them certainly didn’t help. The 21km will not be pretty, but that pain is nothing compared to what people with cancer have to go through, physically and mentally..

I count on your generous contribution and I’ll do the rest.

Dear All,

While writing this post another donation came in from one of my friends and that now surpassed my already raised goal of EUR 7500.

It is heartwarming to see so many people willing to help us.

The first 72 hours were very successful

Sunday 5th Mar

Dear friends, since “little” Rudolf included me in his team van Schaik I started my campaign to raise funds. We’re doing well, already over €3000 in just 72 hours.
