I run against cancer during the NN Marathon The Hague 2026
This November, I want to run my first marathon, and I want it to mean something.
I’m running for my grandmother, who passed away from cancer in Brazil, where I’m from. I live in the Netherlands now, but cancer doesn’t care about borders, and neither does missing someone. 42km is hard, but nowhere near as hard as what she went through.
I’m raising funds for KWF, which funds cancer research and supports patients and their families. If I reach €500, KWF gives me the race spot, so your donation is literally what gets me to the start line.
